Personal Tax Return (T1)
February 21, 2023
- First day to file the 2022 Personal Income Tax Return (T1)
March 1, 2023
- Deadline to make your RRSP contributions for 2022 tax year
May 1, 2023
- Deadline to file the 2022 Personal Income Tax Return (T1)
- Payments must be made on or before May 1, 2023 if you have a balance owing for 2022
June 15, 2023
- Deadline to file the 2022 Personal Income Tax Return for individuals who are self employed or have a personal business (T2125)
- Payments must still be made on or before May 1, 2023 if you have a balance owing for 2022
Corporate Tax Return (T2)
- Payment of expected tax due is 3 months after fiscal year end date. March 31, 2023 if fiscal year end date is December 31, 2022
- Filing of tax return is 6 months after fiscal year end date. June 30, 2023 if fiscal year end date is December 31, 2022
Deceased Tax Payers
Deadline for filing tax returns is:
- May 1, 2023 if the death occurred between January 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022
- 6 months after the date of death if the death occurred between November 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022
Trust Tax Returns (T3)
T3 tax returns must be filed within 90 days of the trust fiscal year end
